Hangul Alphabet and Beginner 1
If you are a new student to Korean, there are two main classes to start: learning the Korean Hangul alphabet, and then a beginner class to build on that knowledge and to start to read, write and speak. Korean Hangul Alphabet Class
This 8 week class will introduce the Korean alphabet, Hangul, for adult students new to Korean language.
Within 8 weeks, you will learn beginner Korean Hangul reading, writing and pronunciation rules, the Korean numbering system, along with a starting set of basic conversational expressions. Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to read Korean alphabet and words, and then can move to the Beginner 1 class.

Korean Beginner 1 Class
This Beginner class, for 15 weeks, is for students who have completed a Korean Hangul alphabet class or who can read and write the Korean alphabet.

Students will continue their Korean study, gaining more knowledge of basic grammar and expressions, and more beginner vocabulary. After this class, students will be able to ask simple questions to others, describe locations, read native Korean and Chinese / Sino numbers, exchange greetings with each other, and utilize informal polite forms with present tense sentences.
