K-Pop Korean Class

Dive into Korean language and culture through the exciting world of K-Pop!

This class uses popular K-Pop songs, music videos, and music stars' content to help students learn real, natural Korean in a fun and engaging way. Each lesson focuses on improving vocabulary, pronunciation, listening skills, and cultural understanding while exploring the lyrics, expressions, and themes found in K-Pop.

Students will learn:

• Essential conversation phrases commonly used in K-Pop songs and fan content

• Hangul/Korean alphabet reading and pronunciation with K-Pop–based examples

• Everyday vocabulary and grammar through lyric breakdowns

• Cultural insights into Korean entertainment, fandom life, and K-Pop stars' communication

• Listening comprehension using songs, interviews, and variety-show clips

By the end of the course, students will be able to understand and sing along with their favorite songs more confidently, recognize common expressions used by Korean stars, and communicate using practical Korean learned from authentic K-Pop content.

Beginners to intermediate learners who love K-Pop and want a fun, motivating way to learn Korean.

Time schedule: 8 weeks, 1:20 hour class per week

Two class options:

1/7/2026-2/25/2026 Wednesdays, 3:30-4:50pm PST or

1/8/2026-2/26/2026 Thursdays, 3:30-4:50pm PST
